Hi,
I bought a samsung E7 phone on 13 april 2015 and also got it insured through Iffco Tokio for next 12 months. I accidently dropped it on 15th feb 2016 thereby breaking its screen and lodged a claim with customer service being managed by RMP electronics (website :http://www.gadgetcops.com/) who have been making it difficult to settle the claim. First they asked me submit a soft copy of the damage estimate, mobile bill & ins copy which I duly complied with in 2 weeks. After that several people called me with conflicting information -some telling me to submit my phone as total damage while others telling me to get it repaired and file a claim. Finally as advised in writing on 14th march 2016 I went to samsung service center to get this repaired but the required replacement part was not available at any of the service centers. after two weeks I was able to get it repaired. They told me now I have to courier all these docs most of which were emailed to them earlier. I again sent them the docs as advised through courier and also wrote to them confirming the action and explaining the delay on 29th Mar 2016. Till this date they havent responded. When I called them to check first they told me that the didnt receive the courier. When I told them it was through DTDC and somebody did receive it, they agreed that it was received and the invoice was sent to service center for verification and I can expect the cheque in 15 days. When I called them again to check then they told me that the claim is closed and not approved !
I feel completely cheated now after doing everything they asked for now they are denying the claim.
I have been given misleading information and been asked to send docs again and again.
Nobody is responding to my email.
I feel they had an intent to deny the claim and have purposely made it a cumbersome process. Please help me.
