Defective door lock complaint about godrej locking solutions and systems

We brought a new godrej mortise 6 lever lock for the house. But it is defective as the latch bolt doesn't go inside properly so it is difficult to open the door. The lock is still in the warranty period and the complaint has been lodged with the customer care but till date no response. As per the customer care representative we were supposed to fit the lock with the help of godrej representative. But it is not mentioned in the warranty card or anyother literature of the lock. Hence we need help in replacing the lock from the company.
