I was a member of YFC gym Ahmedabad, from more than year. My GYM membership was expiring on 29 July 2016. Due to some promotional offers, I renewed my membership 15 July 2016 (before expiry). By paying Rs 8000. I have also hired a personal training during last three months of my membership.

After two-three days of paying fees, when my old membership was in force (18/19 July 2016) I start feeling numbness in my hand. When the numbness increased and as it lasted for more than a week, I went to a neurosurgeon and the doctor suggested me to have MRI test. On 30 July 2016, I was diagnosed with some CERVICAL issue. The details of the issues is mentioned in my attached MRI report.

My Doctor suggested that this injury was due to unattended/un-monitored weight training. I could recall that when I hired a personal trainer at YFC, this should not happen if I was guided properly. The personal trainer at the gym trains 2-3 clients simultaneously. Management is also aware of this situation. When I talked to them they told that they do something but nothing was done. I strongly believe from statements of my Doctor that I am suffering from a life threatening injury in my cervical due to careless of the GYM and their management.

My doctor advised that I would not be able to go to gym for lifetime. Also, I have faced a lifetime deficiency. If I do not give proper care and attention it can cause other serious health problem to me.

I am contacting the GYM since last 40-45 days to request the refund of my membership renewal which I have not even started! Most of the time the phone is not answered. When answered, they are transferring calls from one person to another. No one is giving proper reply. Most of the time they are not answering my phones.

Once someone says that we will approve your refund. But lastly someone called and informed me that they cannot refund me. I have to find out someone and transfer my membership to him/her. Now as I have been hospitalized due to their mistake and carelessness. Where should I go to find out someone to transfer membership? I have not even used the new membership for a single day!
