exact amount taken by gas agency for cylinder

Respected Sir / Madam
This is to bring to your notice that i booked a gas on 5th July 2022 and paid Rs 1029/- online. When the gas was delivered the agent took Rs 50/- more as from next day price was hiked.
What is the exact rule regarding this?
Previously when gas price was slashed , payment was made as it was on the day of booking. So why double standards?
