Fraud by builder - as no construction post collection of money

Dear Sir,

I wish to bring to your kind notice the fraud being done by builder M/s Mist Avenues Private limited. The reason for calling it a fraud is simple as it is not delay in project handover but no serious efforts being made by the builder to start the project forget about handing over of the project. The builder commenced excavation work to lure buyers and collect money, post collecting money from buyers there is hardly any progress been made in last 4 years. In between there were quite a few full page advertisements by the builder in English dailies making tall claim of completing a building of 33 floors in just 99 days. It was another trick of theirs to dupe innocent buyers.

It is surprising that how ca they do such a blatant loot of buyers money especially when government agencies and Honorable Supreme Court are putting in lot of efforts to take such errant builders to task.

I had invested in their retail project Festival City located at sector 143 B, Noida Expressway, Noida, UP in the year 2013. It is four year since I have invested in project and living at mercy of the builder and pleading them to commence construction or return my invested amount with interest rate of 18% which they charge their customers for any delay in installment payment. I had written multiple mails to their owner/Managing Director but in vain. I can provide all mails as reference documents as and when desired. Could have attached the files had the pdf/text file document is accepted.

I got reply to one or two mails of mine however routine revert from their customer care department with some site pictures which can’t be ascertained if current or are stock pictures i.e of activity done months/year back.

Despite writing to them that I would be escalating the matter to Jago Grahak Jago and PMO office have not received any satisfactory response to the mails written to them.

I am sure and quite optimistic that this complaint of mine will surely help an aggrieved customer to get back the money with interest and institution like Jago Grhak Jago have enough teeth to take the builder to task and will not be equally helpless like I am at this stage.
