I am working as a Senior Executive in a Government Organisation. To add qualification, I have taken admission in the ICSI. Now, in order to prepare for the exam, I bought Offline Study Material in DVDs for the 1st Module of CS Exam of the Gurukul Online Learning through Snapdeal on 5th November 2016. It took about another 1 week time receive the material. I was supplied with 4 DVDs and 1 Dongle for this purpose.
But, due to sudden overload of work at office I could not use it even once. Now, the work has eased and I wanted to read the study material. To my surprise, I have found that I cannot use it now, as it has expired. I would like to mention that nowhere either on DVDs or on Dongle or in the Envelop its validity date or expiry date is written. I called up the Office of Gurukul Online. But they are having very indifferent attitude. They are not bothered about this. They are saying that the validity date was till 31st December 2016. But this has not been written anywhere in the envelop or on the DVD.
Generally the Study material or any Software is allowed to be utilised for the lifetime. Even on any food product or medicine, the expiry date is written. But this product has been made only to cheat the poor students and not to help them in their studies.
