MTNL Broadband Disconnection, wrongly billed by MTNL for Broadband services

Respected Sir/Madam,

I have been wrongly billed by MTNL for Broadband services since Jun'16. My Broadband connection was faulty for the entire month of Jun'16 and despite raising complaints on daily basis the issue was not fixed until the end of the month. Meanwhile i moved to a local Internet service provider as i needed internet connectivity. Therefore, i stopped using the MTNL Broadband services and requested for a disconnection for Broadband only as i wanted to keep the Landline connection. Despite of me conveying this to the MTNL officers several times no action has been taken on the same. I even visited the Janak Puri, MTNL Sanchar Haat for the same and they asked me to get a written application signed by the Branch manager. I went to meet the branch manager however the officer in-charge was not available at multiple occasions and they asked me come after some time. I am a salaried individual and i can't make so much time out of my daily schedule and get sent home beacuase the MTNL Staff is unavailable. After that i received multiple calls from MTNL to inquire about the connectivity issue and i specifically informed them that i want to discontinue the Broadband services and no one helped me. Despite several follow up attempts from my end to close the broadband connection, i am still being billed for every month wherein i am not using the Broadband services since the first week of Jun'16.

I will not pay for the services which i have specially asked to be removed from my account. I can understand if there are any charges for Landline connection and i am happy to pay for the same as i want to keep the landline connection. But i am not going to pay for the broadband charges for the month of Jun'16- till Sep'16. I would request you to please rectify the billing for last three months so that i can go ahead and pay the dues. Also, the broadband services should have been removed from my account effective Jun'16.
