Dear Sir/Madam,

I was holding a AMEX credit card which I had closed in the year 2012 and unfortunately,when I did a CIBIL query in Mar 2016,the report displays that starting Oct2015 there is a balance pending for 189 days which is amounting to Rs.2,588,which is impacting my CIBIL score and is unacceptable as an individual. After persistent follow up with AMEX 'am unable to get a NoC and also this has been traumatic for me as 'am in the middle of a transaction and not able to go ahead with a loan application for the desired amount and tenure.For no fault of mine and to close the account and make the balance zero AMEX made me pay an amount of Rs.121 as well,which I did promptly and updated that I would be provided with the NoC and CIBIL would be correct and upon CIBIL querying AMEX on the dispute raised by me they are still updating the wrong info and trying close things with a mailer.Please advice on how to settle this at the earliest.
