I have purchased a dupatta from fabindia early October 2018. The product delivered to me was however not in line with my expectation because of the measurements and the fabric texture. Normally I could manage the duppattas purchased from fabindia, as the fabric texture is manageable, so measurement was not an issue. The one which I recently purchased is difficult to manage hence I would like to return it. I have tried contacting the helpline number of fabindia but cannot get connected. Hence I dropped an email to them on 31 Oct 2018 for a return or refund request.The reference number is o7501764. however I received an email from them that dupatta will not be exchanged or returned as per their return policy. I couldn't find any such disclaimer in the bill. Since I have exchanged products earlier with fabindia, I couldn't think the other way. The customer support at fabindia refrred me to check the website for details about it.As per the details, duppatas will only be refunded or exchanged if there is a quality issue, defect or different from the description. I belive the product I received can categorise under the category' different from description'- see description below "Kick-start your day by wearing this dupatta featuring buta work. In order to look flawless naturally, wear it with a kurta of a pastel shade. Along with this, do not forget high heels and a pair of heavy danglers. Made from cotton and silk, it is easy to wear and provides comfort that lasts throughout the day."
I would like to refer to the last point they have mentioned which is 'easy to wear and provides comfort' The product fabric which I received is not easy to wear and is uncomfortable. hence I request for a refund or exchange. The product is still unused, have all tags and original packaging cover. I am a regular customer with fabindia. Please help.
Note: I contacted the customer support and they said they will arrange a call with a senior to address my query within an hour. However they didn't call me which is a clear case of negligence.( I have contacted the customer support today for further clarification which is Friday, 2 November 2018 at 2:59 pm. its almost an hour hence submitting the request)
I am ready to submit the bill for investigation.
