ECR on my Passport

HI,
I have got the passport with ECR on it, i dont know why is it there even when i have submitted my relevent documents now i have come to dubai and got my employement visa stamped on it .... just want to know how to get it removed and will it creat any issue if I come to India and try to return back to Dubai with out getting it removed.
