Dear Sir/Madam,

It was my dream to buy a "Royal Enfield" 350 classic and while i have done hat recently but trust it has been a very disappointing experience..which is exactly opposite to the name " Royal" .. also it has many question on the kind of " Quality Checks" being done before a bike being dispatched from a manufacturing unit..

The details of my experience are mentioned below..

I have purchased Royal Enfield 350 classic bike on the holy occasion of Ganpati . i.e on he 5th Sep 2016 having engine number "U3S5C1GG259349" and frame no "ME3U3S5C1GG467560" from Dhone Automobiles Yerwada Pune Nagar Road Pune and only within 6 days from purchase the bike had to be fueled for almost 16 liters of petrol..Rs 1200 for which it was noticed that the petrol was being leaked from a outlet pipe ..( Video attached) The incident was brought to the notice of the showroom authority who directed me to the workshop.. where it was informed that there is part called as "Float" which is faulty and hence the petrol was contentiously flowing through the outlet pipe.. The float was replaced under which was costing Rs 800/-

The workshop guys have also informed that if still the leaking is observed then the carborater will have to be replaced...!

Need answers to the below questions

1) How can such a reputed brand since years have such low quality checks..!
2) The waiting to get the said bike is almost for 2-3 months.. do the customers wait to get such faulty bikes after shelling out huge money .!
3) In such incidence there was also a life threat to me any my family as the leaking petrol could have caught fire ..! who was responsible for the damage caused??
4) Is it justified for a new bike being immediately refereed to workshop for faulty parts..

I have also referred the matter with the " Jago Grahak Jago manch" consumer forum and NCH..( National Consumer Help)

Hope i get my problem resolved as i am feeling cheated after paying entire cost of the bike.. with a last minute increase in price...!!

Thanks & Rgds
