Respected Sir/Ma'am,

This is with reference to my purchase of Usha Stitch Magic machine from Seena Traders, Varanasi.


I placed an order for 1 Usha Stitch Magic sewing machine on 2 June 2021. I made the full payment of Rs. 20,000 to the owner, identified as Mr Ansari (the main person speaking in the Youtube videos) of Seena Traders (A25/125, Baheliya Tola, Machodari, Kotwali, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221001) on the same day. The phone number I called on was +917379737197, shown as the official number for Seena Traders. Please find attached the proof of the payment via Bhim UPI (Screenshot....Bhim.jpg). Due to the present covid situation, i requested that the package be sent to my sister's place ( Ishira Mehta) at Defence Colony, New Delhi.

I was informed that two packages would be sent to me, an accessories package ( which i received on 5 June) and the actual machine ( which I received on 9 June).


As a precautionary measure, i waited till 11 June to open the package and discovered the following:
1. The packaging seemed old. The machine seemed used. Although, i had requested the owner to thread the machine and send it to me, it still seemed like the machine had been used extensively and was not a new one.
2. Part of the machine on the left of the presser foot was not aligned. Please find attached a picture of the same. ( IMG...A0016.jpg - I have circled the part in blue). I have checked pictures of this machine on your website and YouTube channel, and this part is aligned in every machine.
3. A plastic part was broken and lying near the shuttle compartment area. Please find a picture attached. ( IMG...A00014.jpg - i have underlined the broken piece in blue).
4. There was no bill from the vendor.


I immediately informed Ansari and sent him the pictures asking him if the machine he had sent was alright. He informed me he would get back to me, after consulting his demo person, on Saturday, 12 June.

I have not heard from him after that.

Although, I am from Delhi, I bought the machine from Seena Traders because of the YouTube videos shared by this company. I felt that Ansari's manner of explaining was very well done. And i told him so. I gave this person full respect and faith. And after paying for the product in full, I made a seperate payment to him for tea and refreshments for him and his employees. This was all proof of my respect and regard.

What raised my suspicions were:
1. Ansari's immediate denial that he had not sent a Bill. First he said that he had sent two copies. One attached to the sewing machine and one with the courier person. I told him I have got neither. He then changed track to state that he had sent one bill with the courier person and would send me my copy by courier. Still, believing him, I requested him to just whatsapp a copy of the bill to me. He said he would on Saturday, 12 June. He has not done so. The screen shots of this conversation are attached.

2. He said he would ask his demo person about the pictures of the defective parts. If Ansari is so well-versed with Usha machines as he reflects in his videos on YouTube, this is a very suspicious answer. Even a lay person can tell a part is broken and a part is not aligned just by looking at the highlighted portions in the pictures.


In all humility, I am not asking for the machine to be changed. I only want to highlight a deception that I find really hard to understand. A deception that was absolutely uncalled for after every effort to give respect and regard. I understand that these are difficult times. But, isn't it our duty and responsibility to stay true even in difficult circumstances? And is this not what distinguishes a good organisation from the ordinary?

I request that this issue be raised to the highest authorities, so that a sister, brother or mother might not be deceived by such a man, who sells sewing machines but who in reality, stitches webs of deceit.

    I am very astonished to see such remarks against myself by the most respectful and trustworthy customer i have ever known.
    I would like to submit following reply to the baseless allegations imputed against seena traders parawise
    (1) we sell only new machines which are unused. Usha company provides demo machine to demonstrator so we even do not provide demo with any machine. Your machine was checked and properly threaded as per your instruction after you purchase it.
    If you doubt its newness you should complain directly to us or usha company inspite of defaming us. All machine are new which is evident from the fact that its serial number is written on the invoice. By serial number usha company can easily discover "who purchase it and to whom it is sold"
    (2) We sent the item without any damage and if damage occured during transportation we take the damage from courier company.
    Photos sent by you was ambigious so i can not answer your concern so i requested that you should call on usha toll free number complaining non alignment and damage part and usha technician shall align it and replace the damaged part but you did not call him instead defaming me on public platform.
    (3) If any plastic part was broken and lying near shuttle compartment area then it means that damage occured during transportation. If any damage occured you will not suffer but seller or transporter or usha company will suffer. Usha company shall replace it.
    (4) Courier company takes original copy of invoice with shipment document. No transportation of goods is possible without invoice. However if it misses we send its photo. There is no problem in it.
    (5) I am very surprised to see the description of your exta payment which you made voluntarily inspite of my refusal (all communication are on whatsapp).
    (6) Your suspicion is based on the fact that "you do not receive the invoice"
    You should check your whatsapp. I send the photo of you bill on 14 june 2021.
    On 11 june you requested for it i.e. on friday. On sat and sunday there was lockdown. On monday when shop opens i.e. on 14 june i sent the photo of your invoice. (All the communication are on whatsapp)
    (7) on several occassion i tried to call you but phone can not be connected.
    Even photos which i sent you was not readed.
    If your phone number was active you might have not taken such steps.

    Word deception is unacceptable and unthinkable from such a royal and majestic customer.
    All of your allegations are brutal against my business interest.
    You should have talked to me before writing such remarks against myself.
