SIM not apppearing . Also sound problem

Today I went to Sairam electronics Bhilai for getting my motoG2 reppairef for its sound problem. The set was taken inside the shop by the shop owner and it waa said that I will have to wait for 2 hrs. Since I did not have time I said I will com back afterwards and took back my mobile. Now I am seeing that the SIM i not appearing in any of the slot. Also the shop owner said that it does not have activation password and the phone will be repaired on chargeable basis despite the fact that my phone ia barwly 3 month old and I purchased it through Flipkart
