TAB-S8-50LC - can not be opened.

The tablet was purchased in the last week of December, 2014, since then it was not used on day to day basis.
Now the tablet could not be opened by hitting the power switch or else. while pressing the power switch , vibration is felt followed by a sound but screen remains black without being switched on mode for operation.
kindly guide me to solve the problem
