Dear movie max Cinemas Customer Service

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the mandatory food purchase policy at the movie max Cinemas located in Omax Mall, Patiala. I recently encountered an issue when I attempted to purchase a movie ticket without purchasing food, and I would like to bring this matter to your attention.

On 9th july 2023, i with my family 7 person visited your cinema to enjoy a movie screening. To my surprise, when I approached the ticket counter and requested a ticket, I was informed that I would have to buy food along with the ticket. I expressed my concern about this policy, as such an approach seems unfair and unnecessary. However, the staff members were not willing to listen to my objections and instead engaged in an argument with me.

As a regular customer of movie max Cinemas, I have always appreciated the quality of service provided by your team. However, the mandatory food purchase policy seems to be an excessive imposition on customers and does not align with the usual high standards set by your establishment. I believe that customers should have the freedom to choose whether or not to purchase food during their cinema experience, as this choice can vary depending on personal preferences, dietary restrictions, or financial constraints.

I kindly request that you review this policy and reconsider its implementation at your Omax Mall, Patiala location. Providing customers with an option to buy food is understandable, but it should not be obligatory for the purchase of a movie ticket. A more flexible approach would be more appreciated by moviegoers like myself.

I understand that running a cinema is a challenging task, and policies are put in place to ensure the smooth functioning of operations while being profitable. However, I believe it is important to prioritize customer satisfaction and offer choices that accommodate different needs and preferences.

I hope you take my feedback into account and consider reviewing the mandatory food purchase policy. I value the entertainment experience provided by movie max Cinemas and wish to continue enjoying movies at your establishments without feeling obligated to make additional purchases.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a resolution that benefits both the customers and the cinema. I hope to see positive changes regarding this policy in the near future.

Kind regards,
Ajay
