Car Booking Complaint Complaint Date: February 22, 2021
This is a request to take suo-moto action for the fraudulent activities carried on by Zoomcar, a company providing car rental services. I seek permission to bring to the kind notice that I have been defrauded with an amount of Rs 4999/- by Zoom Car. I availed their services and thereon booked a car for rental purpose on 20.10.2020 for the sum of Rs 8971/- which includes a refundable amount of Rs 4999/-. Till date, I have not received my refundable amount of Rs. 4999/- which I was supposed to get. Additionally, I paid Rs 871/- for additional hours of services availed. I tried contacting them several times but to my surprise, they have not provided me with a satisfactory response and no amount has been refunded till date.
Also, there have been complaints of similar nature on the internet, which also I am attaching in this mail.
Hence, this present request.
