Hi there,
I'm Pankaj Kumar, resident of Gurgaon Haryana. On 10th of December 2018 I had a very important family function to attend that was taking place in Rewari Haryana which is 80
kilometre away from my Gurgaon house. To attend the function I hired a self drive car from Zoomcar company which was suppose to start from 01:30pm till 08:30pm on 10th December
2018, before this booking could start Zoomcar contacted me to say that they can't give me this car and that's why they will give me another car and I accepted it and right
before an hour my booking was about to start I got another call from Zoomcar saying that they can't provide me another car and they allotted me a different car then and they
changed the booking start time as well from 01:30pm to 02:30pm and they committed that the car will be available at Sultanpur metro station, however the car was not at the
Sultanpur location it was at Vasant Kunj, which was 23 kilometre away from my home and when I tried to contact their customer care number it was coming as invalid number and I
tried to contact them 73 time within 2 hour and sent many Emails too however they never responded to my calls or Emails.
I had no other option but to cancel the booking and they deducted 50% booking amount and I tried to make another, again they showed that the pick up location will be Sultanpur
metro station, however as soon as I made them the payment again they changed the car location from Sultanpur metro station to Vasant Kunj, hence again I had to cancel that
booking and again they charged me 50% of the booking amount and then right within 5 minutes I tried to make another booking and this time the pick up location was in Dwarka
sector 7, however as soon as I made the payment the pick up location was changed to Uttam Nagar West which was 24 kilometre away from my home, so again being helpless I
cancelled that booking as well and they charged me again 50% of the booking amount. Finally seeing no other option I made another booking within 10 minutes to a car that I had
to pick up from Mahipalpur Delhi that was 17 kilometres away from my home and I was handed over an empty fuel tank vehicle that barely reached to the fuel station, somehow I
managed to reach to the fuel station and I got fuel filled in it.
During this time I tried to contact Zoomcar through every possible way I could and even spend my days trying to speak with someone from customer care, however nobody helped me
in this regards. During this booking experience my entire bank account got empty and I ran out of money, more over I was mentally and emotionally harassed by them at it's
extreme level.
Since, nobody helped me from Zoomcar, I kept the car at my place and informed Zoomcar representative about this and didn't use the car after my scheduled end time 08:30pm on
10th December 2018. I received so many harassing calls from Zoomcar and I asked them to do justice in my case, meanwhile I kept on posted everything to Zoomcar, however their
legal team contact me and threatened me about the legal action instead of helping me out and apologising for this nightmare.
Now Zoomcar wants to charge me 44680 rupees even after giving me such kind of exzperiance and refusing to hand over me the car that I have already paid for.
Zoomcar has taken away the peace from life and harassed me too much that I had to write this letter to you.
