Cutting 250 rupees from 5k booking amount after the customer suffered mental torture, financial loss

My family members booked the vehicle from Popular Maruti Nagampadom, Kottayam on Jan 11th 2023, paying 5k rupees as advance. Till March last week no response from them even after telling them that we would cancel the booking. May be because it was CSD, they delayed as much as possible. No proper response to customers. After making many complaints, they returned the money after 20 days or so, cutting 250 rupees. We are the ones who wasted time & effort, suffered mental stress and trouble but they took 250 rupees as such. Not even an explanation as to why it is cut. Most probably, this way if things go, customers will shun Popular for irresponsible behaviour. The cutting of cash may be processing fee but no one to even bothered to tell us for what purpose the amount is cut, though it is a small amount. They proposed 100% cash reduction during booking time, telling that booking can be cancelled any time. and that we will not have any loss. Now we wasted our rime, effort and money. Twice we went there, 15 kms away, up and down. Calculate the petrol charges. My bro-in-law took half day leave. Cut the half day wages. So, who lost money, now??? If 100 people cancel the booking, they will get 100 × 250 = 25,000 rupees. Not a bad idea at all.

Please think thrice before going to Nagampadom Popular Maruti showroom, I warned all my friends, family and aquaintances.
Wake up, POPULAR NAGAMPADOM, KOTTAYAM, WAKE UP!! There are umpteen showrooms and better quality vehicles available now. If you go on like this, you will soon lose the 'tournament' even in the case of the much successful Dzire!!
