NON RENEWAL OF MEDICLAIM POLICY

I AM HAVING PUNJAN NATIONAL BANK + NEW INDIA MEDICLAIM POLICY FOR LAST 3 YEARS. I HAD PAID THREE PREMIUMS. I HAVE NOT MADE ANY CLAIM TILL TODAY. I AM HEART PATIENT SINCE 2006. AT THAT TIME IT WAS AGREED TO COVER HEART PROBLEM AFTER WAITNG PERIOD OF THREE YEARS.

MY HEALTH POLICY WAS TO EXPIERE ON 13/09/2020. PNB BANK INFORMED ME THAT WE HAVE TERMINATED THE SCHEME WITH NEW INDIA ASSURANCE. YOU CAN PORT YOUR POLICY WITH ANY ONE OF FIVE INSURER.

WHEN APPROCHED ALL INSURERS BUT THEY DENIED DUE TO HEART DISEASE. NO COMPANY GIVES IN WRITTING. BANK DEMANDS IN WRITTING.

TODAY I AND MY FAMILY ARE WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE. RENEWAL PERIOD HAS PASSED.

I AM DEPRIVED OF MY INSURABLE INTEREST. AS PER THE TERMS PRE EXISTING DEASES WERE TO BE COVERED FROM 4TH YEAR. AND BANK CLOSED THE SCHEME. THIS IS CHEATING WITH CUSTOMERS. THIS IS ALSO UNFAIR TRADE PRACTISE OF BANK. IF GOVERNMENT BANK IS DOING SUCH PRACTICE WHO WILL TRUST BANK.

BANK ALSO MISGUIDE CUSTOMERS TO RENEW WITH THEIR OTHER APPROVED INSURER. IN FACT PORTING COMPANY HAS RIGHT TO REJECT OF PORTABILITY ON ADVERSE HEALTH CONDITIONS. BEFORE ADVSING THE CUSTOMER BANK MUST HAVE CLARIFED THE MATTER WITH INSURER.

EVEN AFTER INFORMING THE MATTER TO HEAD OFFICE ALSO BANK HAD NOT TAKEN INTEREST TO RENEW MY POLICY . EVEN MY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE 2 YEARS TO GET CLAIM.
