This is to bring to your urgent attention fraudulent withdrawals of Rs, 40,000 yesterday night. At 10.21 pm last night I got an SMS message (attached) informing me that Rs. 20000 has been withdrawn from my account at an ATM in Jaisidih, Deoghar. I was shocked as the ATM Card was with me. I opened my SBI App and tried to block my card but got the message that the App was under maintenance (attached). I called the Customer Helpline to get my ATM Card blocked but got the message that the system was under maintenance and I was asked to get my card blocked using the SMS mode. In the meanwhile I got another SMS alert (attached) informing me that another Rs. 20 K had been withdrawn from my account at the same ATM in Jaisidih, Deoghar. I sent an SMS to block my card but got the message (attached) that the system was under maintenance. I kept calling the Helpline number and was able to block my ATM Card by 11.35 pm. In the Evening 12/05/2018 & As per discuss customer care Even without ATM card,sometimes money is withdrawn from account, due to technical problem,Voice is available for customer care. I generated the account statement (attached)and found out that 40000 has been debited.
