Opened new account/ number in the name of upgrading service on old number

I am using an airtel internet dongle number - 7358785474. I pay Rs: 950 + taxes every month, for the package that I opted, to get 8 GB data per month.

I got a telemarketing call from Ms. Divya. She promised to revise by bill plan. In the revised plan, I would have to pay Rs: 699 + Tax per month for 64 GB data. And they will offer a new SIM for enhanced speed.

I agreed. They delivered a new SIM and took Rs:100 as charges for new SIM.

After 3 days I realised that, they have given me a new number. My old number was not de activated. I didn't know that my new number is active.

Now, they have started sending bills for both numbers every month.

on receiving the first bill, I called airtel to suspend the new number. I have sent an email complaint for mis leading me. No action or reply has been given for my email.

But the company has started harassing me for payment on the new number (suspended on 24/07/17).

Request to take penal action by imposing a fine on Airtel for mis leading common men by false calls.
