Here is the message sent to Acer-
On 8th June 2020, I had purchased Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52 for my personal use after going through its excellent reviews and recommendations. But in reality, what I have experienced is something else. After few months of the purchase, the device started having minor issues which were solved easily by myself until February 2021 when the first major issue came to my notice. The device was having issues when I was charging the device. It wasn't charging properly. When kept at a certain position then only it would charge. That was the first when I contacted customer care regarding the issue with my laptop. When a technician was sent to my place, it was found that the charger was short-circuited- cause unknown. Soon new hardware was brought to replace the defective part. After that issue was rectified one day during bootup of my device I found out that my display wasn't working. Otherwise, everything was all working well. Once again a technician was sent and it was found out that the back panel hinge is broken. The cause for was said it can be natural. I thought that would be the end of my problems but it wasn't. One day I found out that my microphone wasn't working. The case was registered and a technician was sent to check the device and he said a new microphone would be required. Soon the replacement part was brought and connected to the device. Still, it wasn't working but the camera was working just fine. On inspection of the motherboard, it was found out that a part of the motherboard was burnt which caused the issue. When everything was connected and the device was restarted, it was discovered that the camera now has also stopped working. Due to the case involving the motherboard, I was said that the case will be closed. On sending repetitive mail regarding my issue the case was finally considered and motherboard replacement was sent. The fault was finally corrected two weeks ago. On 3rd July while I was working on my device on battery power involving low performance the device suddenly shut down without any warning. It wasn't responding at all. There were 2 similar incidents on the same day but the first one on doing battery reset, the device finally started. But during the second time just a few hours later, when this incident occurred, it wasn't responding at any methods to restart. I sent a mail to customer care regarding this but I haven't got any further reply after they asked for my area pin code to see which service center is located near my location. I also sent a mail to acersupport@in.aegisglobal.com email but I haven't got any response from them too. When I contacted customer care via phone, they gave me the phone number and email and phone number of the Regional Manager Ms. Surbhi. I sent a mail and called her but there was no response. Considering it was Saturday evening I waited till Monday evening to see if I get any mail as a reply. I even replied to the same email to send me an acknowledgment email to confirm they have received and are working on the case. I did not receive any. I tried to call her again but I was told she is not in the office so I was given her personal phone number to contact. After several tries, she did not pick up. I tried again today, she was still absent and when I tried her personal number still there was no response. I am absolutely disappointed by this and the stress due to this is unbearable. My warranty has also been expired now and with these issues, I cannot just pay every time when a new issue comes. I requested for warranty extension but I was denied cause it was after the expiry of the period. I was told by the technician that I can but I was denied. I had purchased this device to aid me during my Academic Year of standard 12th but the issues I was facing were just increasing my mental stress. There have been countless times I was not able to attend my lectures. I have missed my exams and practicals too due to this serious matter. I request you to please take an action on the following matter and find a solution.

The motherboard was replaced under warranty since the case was registered just before expiry but within a few days, laptop died again. Acer was not responding to mails. On call they said to call and send a mail to Maharastra regional manager. But on mailing I got no response from the person- Ms Surbhi Ranjan. When called, she does not pickup. I get answered that she isnt there. I was given her personal number but she still doesnt respond. ON messaging on twitter, They say I have to repair on chargeable basis. But problem existed way before. No reply immediately. Now its been more than a week since reported still nothing. I got reply yesterday that I have to go to service center which is far from my place(santacruz). I live in borivali. I did not pay 63 thousand for unreliablity and unnecessary trouble. The serive by acer is terrible. I got reply from ms surbhi one week later but mail was unreadable.
