Dear Sir/Madam,
I have applied for a passport online , the ARN ref no being 170007675768 on 28/05/2017 and had an appointment with the concerned officer today i.e., 29/05/2017 at our Imphal Office under Guwahati Region. I have been advised to obtain an ANNEXURE-A for myself being an SBI Employee posted at Moreh as the Branch Manager. This was advised to me in order to speed up the process as I guess but sir, my controller will have to seek a vigilance clearance report from our SBI Vigilance Department, LHO Guwahati which may be even more lengthy than the normal police verification process.
2. So Sir/Madam, can you please issue me the passport without ANNEXURE A, as my employer(SBI) will go through a vigilance clearance process before issuing the same. Additionally, I have recently got my gun license renewed on 17/01/2017 where the police verification might have been done as a default procedure there in. Else, what other documents can I submit instead of Annexure A inorder to proof my identity as an SBI Employee, e.g. I have ID Card issued by the same controller, Online Salary Certificate, PF Statement and other misc letter proving myself.
3. Please treat the matter as urgent as I need the passport for various reasons including a foreign visit shortly.
