Dear Sir, I , Praseetha E G working as a Teacher with a Private School at Thalassery bought a Samsung Mobile - Samsung Galaxy A03X from a well known mobile shop at Thalassery on 14th September 2021 for Rs14499/- . Immediately after purchase I felt that the mobile is heating up while using. The same was intimated to the shop immediately. But their staff told that there is no problem with the mobile. After much verbal exchanges they directed me to Samsumg Service Centre - Fourstar Communication, M M road , Thalassery. They also checked the phone and returned the mobile on 20th Sept2021 confirming that there is no problem with the phone. Since then I was forcibly using the mobile till 9th Jan2022. On 9th Jan2022, the mobile got heated up too much , again I visited the shop from where I have purchased the mobile. They checked and some how switched off the mobile and asked me to visit the Service Center. Today I visited Samsung Service center. They checked the mobile and identified the problem as power key heating and was told it will take time to get it rectified but could not give any time frame and they are helpless. I strongly believe that the mobile which I have purchased was having genuine manufacturing defect, but unfortunately neither the shop which sold the mobile nor the Service center never agreed the same.
I am from a middle class family and has purchased the mobile for giving online classes to my students. I was undergoing tremendous mental and physical pressure after the purchase of the mobile for running from the shop to the service center and was using the mobile with much fear of any explosion/ accident due to overheating. Because of irresponsible act of the Mobile shop and the service center, I am not able to continue my online classes.
I humbly request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful to replace the mobile with a new mobile without any problem and also to suitably compensate for the trauma and mental pain I have suffered .
