I am writing this letter to you as a last resort for the justice as a common man against the atrocity of the above builder which I am associated for the construction of villa project in Kadachira –Kannur .I am currently NRI working in Oman & I have invested my life time savings in this Villa project.I started a villa with the above developers since 15/01/13 till now the villa is on half way without completion & the Builder is not ready to complete as agreed.

Details of Villa Project:
Undersigned and M/S.Punnakkal Builders and Developers entered an agreement for the construction of independent villa P29- known as Punnakkal Luxury Living at residential property bearing R.S.No.174/1 situated in Edakkad Amsom Desom as per registered document No. 2587/2013 of S.R.O.Kadachira [Detailed Agreement attached for your reference].

Date of Agreement: 15/01/2013- Agreed Normal Completion Date: 7/09/2015

Current Status of the Construction: Building Skelton ready with Plastering-Now Pending Tiles Work /Sanitary Work/Doors & Windows /Septic Tank/Eletricity/Water Provision Ect.

Currently the Builder is Not at all attending the Phone call & whenever he attends the phone, he keeps on giving false commitments of Completion.

Total Cost of Villa Project: INR.36,60,000- Total Amount Paid to the Builder: 33, 80,000

I Contacted RERA –Kerala Office. I got the below response.

Sir / Madam,
With the enactment of “Kerala Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act Repeal Ordinance, 2017 (15 of 2017)” on 15th July, 2017, the operations of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority established under the “Kerala Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2015 (5 of 2016)” have been terminated.
