Complaint rgarding being sold an old packaged product with a new Price Tag

I would like to submit my Complaint against HAMILTON company which is selling its product MILTON Slender 300 Water Bottle by tampering the original MRP and Date of Manufacture of the packaging carton.
I bought this product at one of the retail outlets in Ranchi, Jharkhand on 7th of November, 2022 . Being unaware of the fraud, I bought the bottle at a negotiated price as per the MRP(Rs. 675) and date of packaging (Packed on : 06-2021) mentioned on the visible price tag pasted over the originally printed price/manufacturing slot on the Carton.
I took the bottle home and only after a closer inspection found the tampering. After careful peeling off of the spurious tag the original tag was visible where MRP had been scratched off and Date of Packing was visible as 03-2020.
A complaint regarding the same with the retailer fell on deaf ears as they refused to address the issue saying that it had been sent from the company end and there was nothing they could do about it.
I lodged my grievances with Hamilton on their official email id: info@hamiltonindia.in on 14th November, 2022. They also raised a complaint ticket bearing Ticket Number #429301 against my greivance with a resolution time of about 7-8 days.
I followd up with Hamilton on a number of occassions to get status on my complaint, but till this date they have not responded to me and ticket Number #429301 is still pending with no information about action being taken.
Therefore, I am lodging this complaint against Hamilton India. I would request the consumer forum to look into this matter and address this issue so that I could get proper relief and compensation for the mischief being done against me.
