I Alice Cooper a widow of Late. Sri Christopher Cooper who was employed as an Office Assistant in HYDEL, Civil Lines, Moradabad, my husband died in an accident on 13.11.1994 while in service. Soon after my husband’s demise I was offered a job in Hydel, which I offered up to my elder son Mr. Amol Cooper (still in service). For Pension, Gratuity & other dues I was requested to submit all claim related documents to the HYDEL office in Moradabad, i.e. Death Certificate, FIR report, Postmortem report, Marriage certificate, Legal Heir certificate, which I promptly did according to instructions of the office staff. All the documents were duly attested by MLA Sri. Satish Mahana of Kanpur. I was also maintaining a file with a copy of the documents which I submitted in the office, until I lost all those documents in an accidental fire while shifting to my nephew’s accommodation at Delhi in 2006 .
Gradually, after submission of documents a partial pension of Rs. 2500/- was released and was credited to the Pension account in Punjab National Bank, Civil Lines Branch, Moradabad. The pension was later slashed down to Rs. 1200/- then to Rs. 500/- and eventually to Rs. 250/- I have been approaching the office since 1995 on & off but all my efforts have gone in vain even after being assured of cooperation by the office staff. I once again approached the office in May 2015, my elder son provided an NOC stating that he does not want a share from the pending dues, the office staff asked me to fill in the final claim forms along with photographs, my finger prints (both hands) duly signed by me and stamped by the HYDEL office, Civil Lines, Moradabad. Another year has passed and nothing has been done in this regard.
Sir, Just to inform you that I also have a younger son who is not normal ( A Mongol Child). It is difficult to make both ends meet in this small pension which is credited to the pension account. Sir, I am left with no other option but to approach you, it is my humble request to look into the matter personally and do justice to me and my younger son.
