My sister took admission at Jyoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur for the B.Com LL.B course for the session 2019-2020. The enrollment number is JV-I/19/3389.
For this admission, Rs 11,000/- was deposited as the caution money on 23rd June 2019. My sister took the admission on 16th August 2019 and Rs 20,000/- (7000/- was for woollen clothes) was deposited. Later on, on 27th August 2019, the admission was withdrawn. According to the UGC norms, if the admission is withdrawn in 15 days, 90% of the fees is to be refunded. Since it was withdrawn in 12 days, the university should refund 90% of the money Rs 31,000/-. But the university is saying that it is not going to give us our money. I have emailed them several times. The university keeps on denying the refund.
