Dear Sir,
My name is Chittaranjan VN a public sector bank employee. I am an Ex-Serviceman having the privilege to purchase car through CSD Depot. I have had a Maruti Alto K10 (vxi), 2010 model car with me.
It is intimated that during the month of Aug 2017 the sales manager Mr. Adarsh of NEXAINDUS Kasaragod sales department collected my mobile phone number and started to call and met personally me many times as a part of marketing customer. He was using to meet me in the bank where I am working. To attract me for purchasing Ciaz car from your esteemed showroom I had been promised to give the following offers even though he knows that I am a CSD privileged customer :
(a) Exchange offer for my Alto K10 (vxi) 2010 model car upto Rs. 50000/-
(b) Being a Bank employee offer of discount Rs. 10000/-
(c) New year 2018 offer of reduction for Rs. 20000/-
The sales manger was promising for the above offers repeatedly in front of my bank colleagues and manager in the branch as well as over mobile phone. He further told that the offering period extended upto 31 Dec 2017 only and is applicable for CSD customers too as he got permission from his superiors. As he induced strongly with the above offerings I deliberated to give advance for Rs. 11000/- on 18-12-2017.
Actually I were not in a mode of urgency to buy or exchange a car presently. Due to the attraction of the offers only, I gave advance to Mr. Adarsh. Then I had been informed that Mr. Adarsh was hospitalized due to severe back pain and further interaction to be made with Mr. Praveen.
After paying the amount of Rs. 8.56 lakh in the CSD Depot, Kochi on 17 Jan 2018, I obtained the purchase order for your showroom. On 18 Jan 2018 I handed over the purchase order to your office through Mr. Arun (Indus True Value, Kanhangad). On 02 Feb 2018 I received the vehicle. Hereafter things diverged. I had been conveyed that there is no provision for granting the above offers to CSD Customers, hence I will not get the offers as promised above.
On repeated communications / complaints one Mr. Atul Nair, TSM told that "The new year bonus/consumer offer is something which is inclusive in the CSD price list which is fixed for a city. The pricelist is made after considering all consumer offers that the manufacturer is passing on the customer and is made by an MSIL official and passed on the respective dealership." If it is so the sales person or the respective dealer cheated me by promising false offers.
Further Mr. Ashwin shenoy came to meet me personally alongwith other officials and conveyed that I have had more good benefits other than CSD customers. Then he advised Quality manager to refund back the difference in the CSD price quoted by them in their quotation.
Thereafter no congruent reply was received from him about the offers promised before purchasing (by the sales man) Maruti Ciaz. Apart from the CSD customer privilege your NEXAINDUS Kasaragod sales department promised further offers which had already been agreed by your officials through writings.
It was repeatedly requested that not to admix the regard honoured by Govt of India Ministry of Defence (CSD Department) for ex-servicemen with the esteemed offers promised through the sales manager of NEXAINDUS Kasaragod before purchasing Maruti Ciaz.
As per the purchase agreement the old car (Alto k10-vxi) was sold for Rs. 1,44,000/-. When claiming for the exchange bonus Mr. Daikes Daniel David the quality manager intimated that Exchange bonus (Rs, 50000/-) included in the cost. But it has not been mentioned anywhere in the documents or vocally before exchanging. In this regard a false document was handed over to me by Mr. Ashwin Shenoy while our personal meeting. The document was referred with wrong Engine/Chassis No. Latest one more purchase agreement with wrong date of delivery has been sent to me.
I have not been handed over with original sales documents so far. Whatever the documents given me were with evasion type. I collected some documents from the bankers which are not coincide with the photocopy given to me.
Overall commotion has there in the dealing. A foul play is being experienced by which the offers promised to me may be dissolved or not be allowed.
It is submitted that there has no favorable action either from NEXA or from MARUTI SUZUKI so far against the cheating subject matter. Thus it has been clenched the truthfulness of my complaint by the authorities once again. Several times I lodged complaints to the Indus Nexa/Maruti Suzuki authorities as under :
