Dear Sir/Madam
I purchased Hitachi AC model no. RAU318AWD from Infiniti Retail Ltd (Croma), Anna Nagar, Chennai on 27th April. I was looking for an AC with all latest features including auto dust removal. After scanning through couple of brands in Croma show room and based on the product details given and recommended by Croma salesman, I decided to go for above model. I was told the above AC of Hitachi comes with all latest features including the auto dust removal. The salesman also showed me the yellow container fixed inside the indoor unit which collects the dust through the process of auto dust cleaner.
Around 4th week of June-16, I called a Hitachi technician to attend low cooling complaint. The technician diagnosed and found the low cooling from the AC is due to the deposit of dust on the filters. I was surprised hearing that. I told him this AC has an auto dust cleaner! dust not supposed to be getting deposited on the filters as that needs to be collected in the yellow container.
The technician said, this model of Hitachi does not have the auto dust removal feature!! There is a provision for which the yellow dust collector container provided. The motor for auto function needs to be installed and that comes with additional cost.
I am highly disappointed!! Croma (unit of TATA) was a name of trust for me. But with above experience I feel highly dejected. If the Croma salesman would have had not provided wrong information about the product, I would have made appropriate decision. I spent Rs. 37000/- and still not satisfied with the product.
I look for an appropriate response from CROMA for above.
I have been writing mails and making many calls to Croma but their is no appropriate response. The complaint call gets registered and without any actions the complaint gets updated as resolved. I noticed this as everytime they update that I received SMS. They are cheating me by not attending the issue and wrongly updating in the system as that is resolved.
I look for justice. I would have not spent Rs.37000/- for a Ac which has no special featuere. There are many other ACs available for much lesser cost with normal features as given in the AC I purchased from Croma for a very high cost Rs. 37000/-.
I want Croma to either install the auto dust cleaner motor in the AC or refund the money and collect the AC.
