Medical store sold us the expired medicine used for Covid treatment

Due to Covid, my mother is in severe condition and required to be injected with Toci-400 bio drug suggested by the doctor in Hi tek hospital Bhilai. It costs around Rs. 40595. So we have bought the medicine from Laxmi Medical Stores, Risali Branch DL No- CG-DZ2-41590/41591 who have sold us an outdated medicine for Tocilizumab injection from Cipla company. It had 2 wrappers, inside wrapper was having expiry date of Oct 2020 and the outer one was marked as April 2021 which has been forged over the first wrapper.

Luckily, before dosing the injection the panel of doctors observed the forgery in the packet and stopped the process immediately. When we came back to medical store with the evidence they denied the fact by stating this is valid medicine and Cipla company has done this wrapping intentionally with full consent. Also, denied the refund of the medicines with false behaviour. So we have to arrange it from other medical store from Raipur as Doctors have denied to use this forged medicine. This has caused us immense mental trauma and harrasment in such critical times where my mother was in dire need of the medicine and has caused delay of precious 5-6 hours in getting it arranged from Raipur.

I request you to take immediate strong action against this medical store who has committed such a heinous activity in critical covid situation. So that they never get to play with anyone's life.
