Over the past two days, I got two nasty surprises from Uber in Kolkata, India. Both the times, I booked cabs under their Uber Pass offer and both the times the fare shown was Rs 99. But after I got off, once the amount deducted was Rs 273.84 (on 20.6.17 for a journey from Garia to Jimmy's Kitchen) and the second time it was Rs 308.78 (on 22.6.17 for a journey from my Brahmapur home to One Auto at Kalikapur, a distance of 7.9 km). What disgusting service!

    I was shown fare of Rs 79 while booking uber pool..but because of driver stupidity he forgot to pick one passenger and then took u turn just to pick fellow passenger..
    While dropping me he asked me to pay Rs152..
    This is not done..if i would be ready to pay 150 then i would have booked uner go..this is not done..its happening with me everynow and then..but today it was high time..i was not carrying cash..i have to take cash from a colleague and face this embarassment because of u n ur pathetic service..
    I want my money back..if u r not valuing ur customer then i will also not respect u..i want my money anyhow otherwise i will escalate this to consumer forum.

    I took a Uber go at 8am on 24th January with Shakil from Woodstock floors Nirvana sector 50 Gurugram to Huda city centre metro station. Fare was shown as 80/-...i was shocked when I later saw a message saying that I was charged nearly 800/- .I have all the screen shots to provide that Shakil did not end his trip but extended it much beyond. I have been cheated and demand my money back.

    Both Uber & Ola are simply looting the customers nowadays. A normal ride anyday in Kolkata for 160-180 is showing 550+ & pool is 400+, a surge over 300% by Uber!!! They are alws ready with their lame excuses..... is there anything to stop this nonsense? This is insane
