Hope you are doing good.

My name is Sarfaraz Ahmad Khan and i am facing an issue with regards to one of my recent transaction

via ATM.

I went to Union Bank Of India ATM Branch 'Thatheri Bazar' (Saraimeer, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh) on

28/11/2017 at 11:21 AM (approx), I did two transactions of Rs.10000 each. I never received the cash so

I left the ATM thinking that there is no cash available in the ATM.

After I left the ATM I received the text message saying my account has been debited with Rs.20000 at

28/11/2017 11:25 AM(approx).

I spoke to the customer care and raised a complaint against that so that I can get my refund, as I was

not at fault. I received a text message that the complaint is rejected without any resolution, without

any proper reason. Reference complaint number: 11632674.

I request you to kindly please investigate the issue and get the issue sorted for me. This is really

very pathetic service from the customer care department they even don't have manners to talk to

elders.

I hope you have all the SMS details that are sent to the customers, please check the details and the

CCTV footage. This is my hard earned money and I hope that you guys will help me to get it back

8.17.4.1 Reporting loss / theft / disputed transactions

We will reimburse amounts wrongly debited in failed ATM transactions within the prescribed time limit.

For any delay beyond the prescribed time limit, we will pay compensation as prescribed, provided the

claim is lodged with us i.e. the ATM card issuing bank within 30 days of the transaction.

In case of disputed ATM transactions, we will retain the relevant camera footage till the dispute is

settled. Access to such footage will be available only if the dispute is raised within the prescribed

preservation period of such records.

Your response at the earliest will be very appreciated. Can u get it sorted for me as soon as

possible.
