PAN Details not Updating-Flaw in Online Banking

HI , I have updated my PAN details through Axis Banks online website. System Said Details are updated successfully, Still PAN details were not updated. Contacted Axis bank through phone call as well as email, getting only new reference numbers to follow but not a updation. Other thing to notice is if even a simple thing like PAN card detail update is not working then what kind of security is site is providing. Please have a note that followed steps were accurate. As being a computer engineer i think there is a major flaw in their website that requires attention.
