Dishonored the cheque inspite of balance being maintained.

Inspite of balance being maintained in my account a cheque issued to my party was dishonored by my bank,on asking for the reason they said there might have been an error, but as per the data available in the statement taken from Internet banking it clearly shows there was enough balance.
I mailed the customer care but they didn't care to take any action.
