No permission for Uber and Ola taxi operators for dropping at Airport entrance gate

It was surprising to note that today when I came to Visakhapatnam airport by a Uber taxi for international departure to Dubai by Air India flight, I was dropped at the toll gate entrance, as Certain taxi operators like Uber and Ola are not permitted to enter the gate and drop me with my luggage at the airport entrance. I had to walk all the way with my luggage to the airport entrance, without even a trolley available. It is surprising to note that only certain taxi operators are being permitted to enter and others are not. As a customer I am being punished due to this decision. Request if you can look into this and confirm the reasons. Appears this is a decision taken to support the prepaid taxi operators inside the airport who are charging exorbitantly.
