Taxi Complaint Complaint Date: January 19, 2021
On the night of 18/1/21,I booked an Ola Auto to drop me off at Acharya Vihar Square. During the ride I adjusted my location to some 100 metres right of Acharya Vihar Square for the drop off which was accepted by Ola as I agreed to pay the adjusted amount shown in the Ola app. But to my dismay the driver dropped me off some 400-500 metres away from my designated drop off location and asked me to pay the amount. I said that as the ride is incomplete how can I pay the complete amount. Instantly he said to me not to argue in such isolated place as it's already late and it will have major consequences. I left the place fearing for my life to the place where I needed to board a Bus. He followed me and threatened on the way that I will face death ,my wife will face death etc etc. On the morning of 19/1/21 he called me and said that he is the driver of a CBI officer named some Upadhyay and he will see me in each and every police station where I will register a complaint. Along with his friends he threatened to recover the said amount which I already paid in any circumstances. I have also a recording of the threatenings he made through the call.
Complaint Against / To: Ola and Auto driver Pratap Kumar Martha registered by Ola cabs in Bhubaneswar.
