Sold a counterfeit product | Can't even claim the warranty

I bought an HP Inktank 115 printer on 11th August 2021, and according to the product's description the printer should be under warranty for one year, that is till 11 August 2022.

While trying to claim the warranty due to an error in the printer, the support team from HP informed me that the printer is 1.6 years old late sale and hence they are rejecting my warranty claim.

Thus, the dealer or the retailer sold me a counterfeit product.
