I was using Tikona Wifi Till July 2016 in Meerut. I was transffered from Meerut to Bulandshahr. Bulandshahr is not covered by Tikona for Services hence I made a call to Tikona Call Center on 05.07.2016 to terminate the connection. The call center executive requested to retain the connection and I asked her to book transfer for Lucknow she booked the request and told that transfer will be done only if location is fisible. Till 09th of July no email/sms/call from tikona on the issue. On july 9th I intended to shift my faimily and belonging to Bulandshahr hence I called back to tikona and surprisingly it was told to me that the request was closed as I had not given them date of termination/shifting the connection on which I asked them to immediatly terminate the connection. The Tikona guys then picked up the modem and cable on 11th of July from the premises. I had already shifted to Bulandshahr.Since then I am daily recieving calls and emails for paying my dues along with penalty. My billing Date was 7th of every month;I booked for Shifting the connection on 5th July. As the payment was in advance I had already paid upto July 7th in advance. I had continously tried to explain the whole issue over telephone/email but without any avail. All calls to Tikona or From Tikona were charged to my Prepaid Mobile.
In september 2016 I recieve an Email from Tikona to pay Rs. 1252.00 plus Rs.1500/- for not returning the Modem. I objected to it vide email; inresponse they sent a legal demand notice I again warned them of Legal Action in Consumer forum again in response they send fresh demand. The whole act has summed to harassment of a customer like me who has been paying all bills and charges sincerely.
I request you to kindly take up the matter with tikona and help me getting compensated for harassment by the company and No Dues Certificate.
