Fraud call to know my ATM card details

Hello,

A unkown bank person call me on my mobile no. and ask me the ATM card which is registered on my mobile number is not working.(who seems to be from Bihar by his accent) he wanted to know my bank details.
when i asked for his name he was quit when i told him this a fraud...

    Dear sir,
    On 15/07/15 i lodged a online complaint regarding failure of online recharge on 9 july 2015 on site
    “Complaint Registration Form” and have given my contact information.

    Two minutes after posting this complaint i received a call from 07800706735, the true caller identity displayed on mobile was "BANK MAHARASHTRA CUSTOMER CARE" the person told me that he was from bank and the amount can not be refunded automatically due to some technical problem . i have to give my debit or credit card number to get the refund.i have given my debit card no. then he requested to give one time password that i will receive in few seconds to verify the transaction. Luckily I have not received any OTP. he told that there may be some problem with the card. Then he inquired about my father's card no. which i refused to give.
    i have became suspicious and called airtel customer care, to my surprise they told that bank some times inquiries about card details . I have searched on internet and found that mobile no. . 07800706735 was Vodafone no. registered in eastern UP. I have also checked online complaint forum found that one complaint have been lodged against same number, he have lost big amount.the screen short is given below for your reference.
    I am lucky to escape from a big fraud, but others may not be. Kindly inquire about this no. Now a days these people are getting mobile numbers from costumer complaint site and impersonate as customer care representative to get sensitive and private data.
