I received the call by mentioning that they were from MSEB and our electricity bill was not paid, whereas we paid it well in advance. Therefore I argue with that person. That time they told me that the payment was not updated on the MSEB site. They told me to pay Rs.100/- on MSEB mobile app, and at the same time, they told me to download any desk and SMS forwarder mobile app. I also did what they told me to do. But the moment I came to know that the call was fake, I cut the call and went to the MSEB office. I raised the dispute against the transaction, which was incurred on my credit card and blocked my card, and filed FIR. After some days, I received a msgs from SBI credit card that they were closing my unsettled transaction. Now they asked me to pay off that disputed amount. My concern is if I raised a complaint within 2 hrs of the transaction incurred on my card how the bank can settle the transaction?
