Fake Call Frauds Complaint Date: February 4, 2021
On OLX add he has seen my digital camera add and made a call to me,said that he would send 8000(my cemera price which I mentioned) through phonepay.For that he has sent rupee1 which has to be scanned by my phonepay.That rupee1 was credited so I believed him and sent 12000(said 2 times failed transactions).12000 was debited from my account,after that he said he will send 12000+8000=20000 which was scanned by me and 20000 was also debited from my account.Totally he cheated me 32000

    I was approached in the same way through quikr. Everything he said was so suspicious I did a reverse image search on the qr code he sent because it had that unfamiliar clock symbol in it. I found this complaint through that search which confirmed my suspicion. I was only lucky to not fall for this. Thank you.
