Taken admission fee with pressure and now not refunding this

Dear Sir

I have just returned from overseas after 8 years and my house is situated at Indirapuram. I have approached GD Goenka school Indirapuram for my son's admission in class-7 for academic year 2019-20. I was talking to Ms. Manpreet in the school and her other associates namely Ms. Payal and Ms. Nidhi.

I have approached the school on 17th May 2019 for admission enquiry. At the reception I have met Manpreet and she told me that my son has to appear for the entrance test and for which school is charging Rs 1500. We have agreed for this. But she has also informed us that to appear in the test we have to give her cheque of Rs.80000/- approx as admission fee also which will be refunded in case my son does not qualify or in case we are not interested in the admission in the school. While my son was giving his exam all the ladies mentioned above cornered my wife and almost compelled her to fill the application/admission forms to save the time later along with the cheque of Rs. 80000. For this amount school has not even given the receipt. My son cleared the test and school offered the admission but since I was not there in the school my wife has told them that she will discuss with me about admission and will confirm later. IT CAN BE VERIFIED from your camera at the reception area whether I was there or not. Ms. Manpreet has informed my wife that she will wait for confirmation from her and then the admission process will start but by evening my account is debited.

My wife inquired the school back why the amount is debited without consent from the parent and without admission then the school started avoiding her call throughout the day yesterday. I have contacted the school today but after several reminder they have refused to refund the money.

Now the question is whether you will put your kids in such a school. I am not sure but I will not put my kids in such a school where money is everything and it has to be earned even lying.

I was not sure what should I do but then after consulting my friends including Mr. Goenka , I have approached you now. You are requested hereby to please do the needful in this regard and let me know at the earliest.
