Complaint against the delivery boy

I had placed the gas delivery order a few days ago. We didn't get any changed guideline or notification regarding that the delivery boy would not be delivering the cylinder at our place.

There was no male at my place who can carry the heavy cylinder and bring it home. And I cannot for anything can carry ot it to the third floor.

The delivery guy, Deepu, refused to deliver the cylinder at our doorstep. He was ready to leave the said cylinder unattended in the front of the building.

He yelled when I tried to talk to him and request him into this. He said and I quote, "You shouldn't have placed an order if you don't have any male member at home. And next time, just take the delivery from the road."

He is no one to tell me when I should place the order or not. His work is to deliver the thing at our doorstep not anything other than that.

The way he behaved was truly rude and obnoxious and not at all acceptable. It cannot be excused even by 'Covid 19'.
