Hello Sir/Madam,
I sent a parcel via DTDC courier services on 06/15/2017 (Thursday) to Srinagar from Delhi. The parcel consists of Clothing material and needed to be provided to a tailor for stitching and wear on Eid. They (DTDC)personal assured that the parcel will reach Srinagar on Monday as it takes 3 days to reach there via normal delivery option. I asked them the cost for the delivery, they said 400. When inquired about the rate list, they said it has nor reached till date. Just imagine it is the middle of the year and they still does not have the rate list such a big multi-national company. And then finally they settled on 300 and provided me with a Receipt and I insisted that the parcel should be delivered on Monday (06/19/2017) as its urgent.Till date the parcel has not been recieved and when I check it online it is showing that the parcel is in Srinagar office since 06/17/2017. When I contacted them again, they said the parcel has reached Srinagar on 06/17/2017. I asked them why have it not been delivered when it has reached there and they said we dont know and when they provided me with the number for them, they said we dont have the parcel and its some where else. Parcel is worth 3000 and that is not the issue, the main issue is that it was for the eid and they ruined it and till date the parcel has not been delivered. And when tried to contact the complaint number that they provided (011-44900000), it does not connect and if by any chance it gets connected, they do not pick the phone and disconnect it from their end and take my cell balance as well. Then I tried to cntact them via Facebook, they asked me for the details and the consignment number and I provided them with out providing the address where the package was to be delivered and they are constantly sending me the messages that for security reasons we need the address. I asked them if you need that provide a secure window where I can share the details and also I have provided you with the consignment number you should have the tools to look for that yourself. And then I told them I am going to put an FIR against you and also set up a case in the consumer court and still they dont move with that still asking me the address. I am not sure if they are for real or not so I have not provided them with the address. I want to set up a case against DTDC for such a harassment, discrimination and the problems that I am going through as these clothes needed for the biggest occasion for Muslims and I hope you can understand that.
