laptop doesn't work

My laptop G460 when switched on,and switches off automaticalY.It even later switches on by itself. THIS CYCLE KEEPS TAKING PLACE TILL THE TIME BATTERY DOESN'T DRAIN OFF COMPLETELY.
Antivirus has just been uploaded 2 months back.
I have purchased my laptop 5 years back.
