Misrepresentation of Facts by Flipkart and Housefull Furnitures.

The problem was that the Housefull Furniture were selling a kitchen cabinet through Flipkart, which looked good in photos. When it was delivered I found that there were no shelves inside the cabinet making it useless, hence i registered a complaint and requested for a return and refund. The company that offers 'Same day delivery' has been dilly dallying since Nov 2015 for an order (Housefull Kitchen Cabinet) that was placed on 14th Oct, 2015, Despatched on 10th Nov, 2015, and Delivered on around 22nd Nov, 2015......Return request placed the very next day of delivery......I was assured with date and time that a pickup has been scheduled and i am still waiting for the pickup, forget about the refund. Ironically when i tried to post a seller feedback, i found my product not eligible for a feedback. So much for the high level of professionalism. Order Number was OD304167645017780000
After a complaint on their webpage they escalated the issue and assured resolution. On 30/3/2016 the Housefull furniture representative called and bluntly stated that "sorry sir, hum apka product wapis nahi le sakte, apne assume kar liya ki cabinet me shelf, jabki hamne add me aisa kuchh claim nahi kiya thha. Apko hume call karke enquire karna chahiye thha"......How hilarious is that.....one cannot expect a shelf inside a cabinet? Going to the Cunsumer Forum now. They have been making me wait in agony since 4-5 months and when i escalated the issue online they have simply refused to refund. All this after the customer care representative assured me a pickup of the item and the subsequent refund.Since my address was non deliverable i had got it delivered at a Chennai address and the pickup had to be done from the same location. After an assurance of the pickup i took all pains to send it back to the address where it was delivered and the item has been lying there since months together. This has caused be a lot of mental torture.
