Euroclean Wet & Dry vacuum cleaner - poor quality product

I purchased the Eureka Forbes vacuum cleaner which was explained to me by the sales person as a high grade industrial equipment category product. I paid Rs. 13, 850 for the Euroclean - Wet & Dry vacuum cleaner on 10th Dec 2013 which comes with standard 1 year warranty. Over the last 16 months the equipment was hardly used for 5 to 6 times and when I turned it on couple of weeks back smoke started coming out with sparks inside. I lodged a complaint on 4th May 2015 (service call regd as 81416591). No service engineer called back or visited to check the problem. Only after a long follow-up and escalating the service manager, service engineer came and checked on 16th May. His verdict was the motor would have to be replaced and since the standard 1-year warranty has passed I have to get the cleaner delivered at their main service center and have to bear the replacement cost. I spoke to Mr. Elumalai & Mr. Emai who are supposed to be the Service managers and they categorically denied to do anything about it. My argument about the quality of the product and that the product went bad only after using it 5 or 6 times was not heeded to.

PLEASE STAY AWAY BUYING THIS EUROCLEAN WET & DRY VACUUM CLEANER. THIS IS ONE ANOTHER BAD QUALITY PRODUCT FROM EUREKA FORBES.
