Change of Name in Gas Connection

Dear Sir/Madam.

I have contacted ur office last week to change the name on the Gas connection due to death of my father whose name is on the account. But I have been adviced that I have the surrender the existing connection and then get a new one. But I have checked with HP direct care online and it has been stated that there is no need to surrender and some valid documents has to be provided to change the name. Just keeping you informed regarding this. If I am not gonna receive a proper solution for this then I will be forced to write a complaint regarding the same to Ministry of oil and gas and they will deifinitely help me regarding this since I have already received help on several issues associated with HG Gas connection.
