I purchased product from Flipkart on June 22, 2020 i.e. Sony wired earphones XB510AS with 1 year warranty but within 3months the product had issues and wasnt functioning well and hence i visited sony authorised service centre Krish Electronics, Goregoan. Their engineer checked the product and accepted there was an issue with the mic and asked to generate a job sheet. while generating job sheet they saw that the dealer i purchased from on flipkart was unauthorised/unregistered hence they said we cannot provide replacement however because I insisted they said we will send this for approval if we get approval we will provide replacement but next day i received a call that our approval request is rejected and hence we cannot help with after sales service for this product. I escalated the Complaint and mailed sony regional service head from whom I received the same reply stating the product is from unauthorised dealer and we cannot help. So i Contacted Flipkart they said we will refund you the amount but prior to that a Technician will visit your place for collecting the product. The technician was from third party called Jeeves and he came and said mam sorry i cannot take back the product as it is not under our 10days replacement policy and started arguing. I complained Flipkart but there has been no resolution for past 15days. Flipkart has been defrauding customers by selling products from unauthorised dealers. This is like encouraging grey market from such a huge ecommerce facility with nationwide presence. they have been doing nothing to resolve my issue. They shouldnt have allowed unauthorised dealer on such big platform at all. I need my refund for the product this is not fair that your provide fake products and fake warranty. Unethical practices like this should not be practised at all nor encouraged. Necessary and strict action needs to be taken on this and I need a quick remedy to this problem.
